a sunday sketch

Happy Saturday! Its been a busy week but my mind has been swirling with all sorts of crafty things. I did want to get this Sunday Sketch done that I started earlier in the week, for the sketch over at Studio Calico.

I used some photos from a night out with two of my most favorite ladies. Its simple, I dont love it, but I'm happy with it.

Time to get some chores done so then hopefully there is time for more craftiness. Enjoy your Saturday!

inspired this week

I was inspired by Donna Downey this week and last night had to rush home to play with image transfer onto canvas. I am so happy with the results and I am letting this play around in my mind while I decide what I want to do with this piece of canvas and what other wonderful things this new technique will do for me. Makes me happy.

I have a design for a new dress in my mind, bursting to become a real dress so I am going to try to create my design from random patterns that I have and use this fabric I've had for a year or so. Its been way too long since I've sewn anything, especially a dress.

Oh fabric, how I've missed you. Looking forward to my return to fabricland in a few weeks...

dance in the rain

I've been wanting to create an umbrella in Illustrator for quite a while, and I finally got around to making a quick one a couple weeks ago.

This is one of my favorite quotes. I love dancing in the rain.

I've been very un-creative lately, hoping to get a scrapbook page done this week for the Sunday Sketch at Studio Calico.
